“I Clicked it up a Notch” April Photo Contest

April 27, 2012

I LOVE photo contests.  It gives me a chance to look back over what I have done over the past month and reflect.

I had such a hard time picking just one for the contest.  As an artist, I naturally am drawn to the images with artistic elements.  I had this image in my head before I even took it.  When I saw the beautiful light coming through the trees, I knew I had to use it.  My subject was more than willing to stand where I needed her too and hold the flower just so.   It turned out just as I had imagined.

Thanks for visiting! – A

I’m a sucker for natural light! Love how it’s coming through & obscuring just a little of her face, makes you focus more on the flower & her eye!
